ANZEN-Messenger is a fully fledged enterprise message management system based on ebMS (ISO 15000-2) messaging architecture and built to ebXML standards. It provides flexibility to allow consumers to gain the benefits of a secure and reliable messaging system.

ANZEN-Messenger is designed to a "pluggable" component architecture with its core components developed using Java/J2EE. It provides an extensible design allowing developers to build their own plug-in features. Its "loosely" coupled design allows interfaces with virtually any other system.

ANZEN-Messenger is configurable via the user interface to XML based configuration files.

ANZEN-Messenger manages persistent storage and retrieval of all messages via database and file system repository.

ANZEN-Messenger has a configurable security model that allows certificated authority (PKI) over secure socket layer (SSL).

ANZEN-Messenger is packaged as a single downloadable install file. It will run on Windows NT, XP and other platforms

ANZEN-Messenger has inbuilt features such as internal IP Address detection which means users initiating message transmission do not have to have a permanent/ fixed IP address. This also means the user does not have to have a permanent connection to the Internet.

ANZEN-Messenger has a "loosely" coupled design which means that it can be a plug-in point for other applications.

ANZEN-Messenger has an API which provides the "entry point" from your back office applications.

ANZEN-Messenger is concerned with message delivery rather than message content.
